2. Your Unit Blows Warm Air

3. Your Unit Cycles Frequently or Will Not Turn Off
If your AC unit is too large for your home, it will go through a process called short-cycling. This is when it shuts off and on rapidly. This rapid cycling can also occur if an air handler is blowing cool air directly onto the thermostat. On the contrary, if your system won’t cycle off, the unit may be too small for your home. It could also be due to low refrigerant levels or a faulty relay switch. Either of these would need to be repaired by a professional.
